I've been a birdwatcher since I was twelve. That was quite a while ago—so long, in fact, that I can’t quite remember what first drew me to birds. It was probably one of those unsurprising love-at-first-sight moments

Over the years, birdwatching has taken me down winding, strange, and fascinating paths. It’s helped me overcome challenges that life has thrown my way, and gradually, it’s become an inseparable part of who I am. Birding shapes not just my identity, but often the rhythm of my daily life—for better or worse

As time went on, I began writing—and then photographing—my birding adventures in an effort to capture that avian magic in words. I try to merge nature with the personal, and pair the beauty of the Hebrew language with the beauty of birds.
